Every November, Americans come together to celebrate Thanksgiving—a holiday rooted in gratitude, community, and the harvest season. Its origins trace back to 1621, when the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag people shared an autumn feast after the Pilgrims’ first successful harvest. Over time, Thanksgiving evolved from local observances to a national holiday, officially proclaimed by Abraham Lincoln in 1863 as a day of “thanksgiving and praise.”
At TradeMark Nitrogen, we honor this spirit of gratitude with our own tradition. Once a year, our entire team gathers for a companywide Thanksgiving lunch—a simple but meaningful way to pause, reflect, and appreciate the people who keep our operation running strong.
This year, we prepared two full 15-pound turkeys, both brined to lock in moisture and flavor. One was slow-smoked, rich with a deep, savory aroma. The other was deep-fried, giving it that crispy skin and juicy interior everyone looks forward to. Together they filled the lunchroom with the unmistakable scents of a true Thanksgiving feast.
But the meal is only part of what makes the day special. What really matters is the time spent together—sharing stories, laughing, and enjoying a few moments away from the daily pace of plant operations. It’s a chance to recognize the hard work, dedication, and teamwork that define TradeMark Nitrogen throughout the year.
As we look ahead to the holidays, we’re grateful for our employees, our customers, and the continued progress we’re making together. From all of us at TradeMark Nitrogen, we wish you a safe and happy Thanksgiving season.
