1959

Original facility built by Southern Nitrogen Corporation, focusing on Calcium Nitrate granulation.

1966

Southern Nitrogen merged with Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corporation becoming their Agricultural Chemicals Division.

1983

Trademark Fertilizer Trading was founded in 1981 and expanded in 1983 with the acquisition of the Tampa manufacturing facility from Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corp., establishing the foundation for what is now TradeMark Nitrogen Corp.. Since then, the company has grown into a trusted manufacturer and distributor of nitrogen solutions serving agricultural, industrial, mining, and water treatment markets across North America.

1987

TradeMark Nitrogen Corp. begins full-scale production of magnesium nitrate solution, helping establish the company as a leading U.S. manufacturer and supplier of specialty nitrate solutions serving industrial, agricultural, and water treatment markets.

2010

Rick Brandt, CEO & President at BRANDT, assumes 100% ownership of TradeMark Nitrogen Corp.

2019-2020

TradeMark Nitrogen continues to expand its production of Specialty Nitrate Solutionsto include Copper Nitrate, Ferric Nitrate in 2019 and Calcium Nitrate in 2020.

2021

Launch of CT-70® and CAL-12® Calcium Nitrate Solutions

TradeMark Nitrogen expanded its specialty fertilizer and industrial chemical portfolio in 2021 with the launch of CT-70® Calcium Nitrate Solution and CAL-12® Calcium Fertilizer. Produced in Tampa, Florida using locally sourced limestone and nitric acid, these products provide highly available calcium and nitrate nitrogen for agriculture, horticulture, fertigation, concrete admixtures, wastewater treatment, and industrial applications. The introduction of CT-70® and CAL-12® further established TradeMark Nitrogen as a trusted U.S. manufacturer of calcium nitrate and specialty nitrogen products.

TradeMark launces two new specialty products, Substain-N and Aqua Ammonia.
