Products/Industrial/Copper Nitrate Solution
Cu Nitrate

Copper Nitrate 41% Solution

Copper Nitrate 41% Solution from TradeMark Nitrogen is a high-purity, blue, transparent liquid that dissolves in water to form the ions Cu2+ and NO3-.

Copper Nitrate 41% Solution contains 14% copper and 41.3% Copper Nitrate.

Copper Nitrate Solution plays an important role in many industries, including:

Textiles

The textile industry uses copper nitrate to dye fabrics. The dye itself is an orange-red color and has been used since the Roman Empire. It can also be used to dye wool, silk, and cotton fibers. In addition, it can also be found in paints and paints containing other coloring agents.

Water Treatment

Copper nitrate is also one of the most common chemicals used to purify drinking water. It works by removing impurities from the water source before it reaches your tap or faucet. There are two ways that copper nitrate can be used for this purpose: either through direct addition or through ion exchange processes where ions from another source are exchanged for those that are present in your water supply (like lead).

Catalyst

Copper Nitrate can be used as a catalyst to increase the rate of a chemical reaction without itself being used or changed. A catalyst speeds up chemical reactions by providing an alternative reaction pathway with a lower activation energy. While the catalyst itself is not consumed in the course of the reaction, it may be inhibited, deactivated, or destroyed by products of the reaction.
